GOTHAI DAL TRADERS is the flagship company of the GOTHAI GROUPS, a trusted name in the food grains industry since 1975. Founded by Mr. R. Vaidyanathan, the Managing Director, the company began as a small retail outlet dealing in essential grocery items, supported by a dedicated team of workers.

Recognizing the rising demand for quality food grains such as black gram and green gram, the company strategically shifted focus from retail to wholesale trade. Over time, GOTHAI DAL TRADERS has evolved into a major player in the procurement and processing of pulse-based raw materials. We source directly from local farmers and suppliers, ensuring quality at the point of origin. These materials are then processed and distributed—both in raw and processed form—across various regions of the country through our network of commission agents.

As the core business grew, several allied firms were established under the umbrella of the GOTHAI GROUPS, each engaged in diverse business activities. More information about these firms can be found on our homepage.

To streamline logistics and ensure timely delivery and procurement, we operate our own fleet of vehicles including lorries, vans, cars, and two-wheelers. This allows us to maintain consistent supply chains from rural sourcing points to end distribution.

GOTHAI DAL TRADERS has its main office located in Mannargudi, within the Thiruvarur District of Tamil Nadu. Situated just behind the main branch is our well-established industrial unit, dedicated to the processing of pulses. The facility is equipped with advanced machinery for pulverizing operations, which are regularly inspected by technical experts and maintained by a team of experienced staff. Currently, more than 25 employees are engaged in manufacturing and production activities.

Our organization operates on a fully computerized system, with accounting and administrative functions managed through reliable accounting software. The accounts department alone comprises over 30 staff members, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

Moreover, GOTHAI DAL TRADERS is a partnership firm consisting of three partners. In addition to domestic operations, we are actively involved in the import of Black Urad (Black Orid) from countries such as Burma, Singapore, and Malaysia.
